Krata biografija Darka Markovic (devojacko Mihailovic) je rodena 1981 godine. Diplomirala je na Tehnolosko metalurskom fakultetu u Beogradu. Na istom fakultetu je skolske 2006/2007 upisala doktorske studije. Od januara 2007. je kao istrazivac pripravnik bila zaposlena na projektu TD-7017B koji je finansiralo Ministarstvo nauke i zastite zivotne sredine. Zatim je od aprila 2008. kao istrazivac saradnik zaposlena na projektu TR19007 koji finansira Ministarstvo za nauku i tehnoloski razvoj. Ucestvovala je na projektima EUREKA !3654 BIOPOLIS i EUREKA !4043 NANOVISION.
Oblasti interesovanja Inzenjerstvo povrsine, nanomaterijali, Polimerno inzenjerstvo. Surface engineering, Nanomaterials, Polymeric engineering.
